We will be speaking on a panel at this years Institute for Emerging Issues Forum on energy.  The panel will be focused on disaster response and rebuilding efforts for energy infrastructure following the damage from Helene in Western North Carolina.  See the URL for ticket and schedule information.

We are going back to Appalachian State University for the annual Appalachian Energy Summit.  This conference brings together university, private sector, and energy professionals to discuss how the UNC system and otehr private colleges have approached the increased need for energy while addressing the climate altering effects of fossil-fuel based energy production.
