The Town of Waynesville, in collaboration with the Waynesville Environmental Sustainability Board, will be holding a ribbon cutting to celebrate the commissioning of SIX new 9.6kW EV chargers at its recreation facility on W Marshall Street, near the tennis courts.  This installation is the first of two such installations in Waynesville to be completed, and only the second public Level 2 charging installation of this size in WNC ever!  This installation will allow folks to charge their EVs while they use the recreation facilities, improving local air quality and community health by combining exercise with zero tailpipe emission vehicles.
